| Hi guys/ girls, i am finally back from my NCC camp... 3 days 2 nights... quite okay overall... Let me start on the first day... On the 1st day, i arrived at school at abt 7.25 like that, then my part (part B's, sec 2s) and my seniors were just slacking and sitting around the parade square. Then, the sec 4s shouted at us to fall in and so we did. I thought we were off on a great start, but man... i was wrong... Really wrong. We got screwed and were knocked down, cos we were considered late as we did not fall in and they were telling us their expectations for us as we are in push-up position. They said that it will be a discipline camp... a camp for us to improve ourselves... and i find it weird that i actually was able to accept it... well, we got pumped after that, abt 30 push ups if i am not wrong. Then we emptied our bags and dumped everything back in after that... We were split up into 2 companies and 4 platoons... the 2 companies are Falcon and Osprey, and the 4 platoons are F1, F2, O1 and O2. I am in O2 with Huan Hock, Nicholas and some part As' and Cs' then we went and changed out of our short 4, the army uniform, and into our PT kit... We started to do PT after that... 4 sets of 20 pushups, 20 situps, 20 burpees and 10 counts of 8 jumping jacks...  that is like damn easy lah... normally we do much more.... but i don't really care. then we ran to RJC to have a 8 x 200m relay... we pratically lost like crazy as the sec 1's aren't really fast.... its like it is the sec 2 s and 3's that are catching up... starting in the first round we were quite ok.... then it started to get worse until Alvin caught up with O1, but then Mervyn ran, which is like damn imba... and my sec 1 suck at running. When he arrived, O1 had already ran for like 70m +++ liaoz.... So i started choinging.... caught up near the end but then almost trip so could not finish 3rd.... but it is unfair as we had the outermost lane, so longest distance. then we ran back to school and i think we went for drills session.. Have i told u guys abt arms drills? it is basically doing drills with a wooden rifle... Weirdest thing is, our part, which suck at drills, rock at doing arms drills, even out Sgt was damn surprised lah... we were imba... we just rock at it... then we had lunch and after that, we have a GSK (general specialist knowledge) talk by our Encik and Master. It was damn funny as they were joking with us and then trying to draw things on the tablet PC. then we learn some sick songs like something called ' my toot-toot' and another cool song. it goes something like this If i was a (1)'s son if i were to marry i would marry a (1)'s daughter More than anybody Cos she can (2), i can (2) we can (2) together i cannot rmb the full song but then replace the numbers in brackets with these words; 1: carpenter/farmer/frenchman/prostitute, and 2: screw/dig/kiss/f*** respectively.... it was very funny... After that, we went for soccer and then for our match against F2, my team scored 4 to their 3.... haha... but we lost to F1 1-0... Soooo close... After soccer match, we went to take a shower and clear up our bunks... we got screwed at our bunks cos someone, as they say, did not turn off the aircon, but we did, but what can we do? we had dinner after that and we went to watched final Destination 2... it was damn sadistic... after that, we had some team bonding games and then we went off for solo night. problem is, in the LT, the specs were telling everyone ghost story of the school and we were damn freak out... after we met at the foyer at Raja block, we were the only part left, so they told us more stories to freak us out... but luckily we were sleeping at Raja block.... Raja block was crap for solo night, as it was crowded, like 5 people on one level... stupid lah... good thing there was a lot of noise on the road, or else i bet everyone don't dare to sleep.... haha.... woke up quite early, at abt 6 the next day.... we slept at 1.... felt quite energized... we were screwed b4 doing PT, which we got screwed even more....then we had bread for breakfast before we changed into long 4 for IFC breifing and test.... i think i did quite well... according to our Staff Sgt, he said that we did well in most accept Cover and Consumer, which is camouflage... upon 14, i got 11, second best after a guy who got full marks.... super happy, should have gotten 13, but 2 leaf dropped out, so i minus 2 marks.... after IFC was lunch... after that was the drills test... think i did quite well for my uniform, and for arms drill, i think my platoon of 7 owned... we were almost perfect apart from a little hiccup somewhere.... even our Staff was impressed... happy sia... after that we had 20 minutes break b4 we went for field cooking... cooked our own maggie mee and it was delicious... i forgot to put MSG so it was bland.... but still good...we had a treaure hunt after that which was very fun.... My grp, O2, got stuck on the 1st clue, when the clue was useless windows... a lot of places in the atrium, but was all wrong... until like 5 hints then Alvin got it and we found it. it was the spec's room After that, it was smooth... some of the clues were obvious, like the backdoor to the NCC room, the one behind the water cooler was quite hard, but i guess it was just luck that i found it, and then there was an evil one... the photocopy room was in the canteen, almost got tricked until i told them, when we reached we were the first grp to finish.... yeah.... i found 2 clues.... hahahaha..... We got this ulti war game after that which was FFA... so we ganged up against the part C and got trashed, Mervyn, HH and i made a kamikaze run into like 20 part C's as the part A's anyhow frag... got killed but managed to kill one b4 that... 2nd round was more organised... falcon vs osprey CTF... got jacked a lot of times.... i made 2 kamikaze dash for the flag, but i think their reaction time was slow as i almost reach the flag when they saw me.... couldn't see the flag as the defenders were camping.... dashed back to my territory and got jacked in the end.... then everyone respawned and the other team won.... so what.... we did our best.... u should have seen us... the specs are mortal at first, until they got ganged so much they became immortal and started fragging everyone.... Alvin, Charles and Ting wei damn pro.... Alvin was targeted by 3 specs and he managed to survive for like 5 minutes, then it was charles, 10 specs were chasing him before he got killed and ting wei got kille after the specs did relay style to kill him.... very fun... then for night PT we did this solo walk thing.... i volunteered to go first, so i walked to the Bio lab, which was dark, took the glo-stick and strolled back, cos i saw the specs that were going to scare us.... but made it fun... didn't tell anyone abt it... then we went up to the NCC room after that, one by one, shout our names, and walk down the back door, which was pitch black... i felt my way down and it was scary ok.... trust me... the lights that can be seen near the end was super bright inside, but when i went out, i saw that it was quite dim... can compare now rite? went to sleep in bunk after that.... Today we had our promotion, i am Lance-cop now, and we were basically slacking today... so dats it.... hope u have a nice holiday... |
